| Happy summer everyone! This special summer edition of Plan2Plan provides some highlights from the June conference extravaganza, gives a sneak preview at next year's Canadian Association of Planning students conference and introduces you to this year's CIP Student Representative, Jeremy Murphy at Dalhousie University. It has been a pleasure over the past year to represent
students on the Canadian Institute of Planners National Council.
It has been especially wonderful to meet and to get to know many
of you. I can personally vouch that planning students are a pretty
cool bunch passionate and engaged human beings destined for great

| Introducing: Jeremy Murphy! | |||

Taking over from Andrew Curran as the Student Representative on the Canadian Institute of Planners National Council is Jeremy Murphy from Dalhousie University. Entering his second year of the Dalhousie Master of Urban Planning program, Jeremy is keen to have student interests represented at the national level. His electoral campaign expressed intentions to rebuild CAPS, make CIP matter for students and promote communication between universities and professionals. He has already attended his first CIP council meeting and AGM and is ready to take your issues to the fore! |
