The May Plan2Plan!

What a year. Planning students who are working on your theses or taking summer courses, I feel for ya. But, it IS the summer and there IS an outdoors, away from computer screens. Time to take a break, planners - however brief or fragmented it may be. Run around and plan how your open spaces might be better! Lie around and think about solar access! Bike around and think about transportation! In a fun way. Not in a school way. Or, don’t do any of that. Just take a break.

May’s Plan2Plan gets you topped up on things that were and things that will be. Here’s the deal: one last look at CAPS 2007, the haps on the Montreal student planning scene, some nifty planning links, a look at our future as professional planners, an intro to your 2007-2008 CIP Student Rep, and a check-in with students across the land – what are they planning out there?

While you’re catching rays and catching up on Plan2Plan, check out what you may have missed earlier in the school year when you were pulling all nighters. The other 5 issues of Plan2Plan from over the past year are full of tidbits, articles, school updates and resources you have got to check out. Some of those YouTube videos – wow.

Well, it’s been real, people. I’m outta here as your Student Rep, with only a few last duties to perform. Thanks to those who read up, kept up and kept in touch. The CAPS conference was great and I look forward to seeing some of you in Quebec City in June! Congrats to the grads and good luck to the students powering on through next year. Keep in touch at j.murphy@dal.ca.
